Katie Karner LCPC

Therapist

Katie uses a whole-person
approach with her clients. She incorporates compassion, collaboration, and even a bit of humor to help them move through challenging situations and feelings.

While therapy provides a unique opportunity to better understand yourself, it is a vulnerable process that can also bring up difficult emotions like worry, anxiety, and shame. These emotions are normal to experience as one begins therapy, and Katie knows that working together can help to resolve them, and feels very strongly about the importance of finding a clinician you connect with in order to build a trusting, supportive therapeutic relationship.
Katie incorporates CBT and ACT practises in order to better help clients develop new ways of coping. She also specializes in mood concerns, anxiety, relational issues, and trauma.
