"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."

About Us

The Healing Process

Have you ever found yourself conflicted with where you are now and where you would like to be?

This can sometimes feel like getting lost in a forest, unclear on how to find your path.

We'll take out our maps and try several routes only to end up in exactly the same place.  We end up finding ourselves becoming increasingly overwhelmed and helpless about what to do.

Should we give up?  Should we ask for directions?

At Growing Clarity, our mission is to come alongside our clients and help them discover a new awareness and how to heal from their current struggles.  We also help them acquire new skills and coping strategies that will assist them on their life journey.

Our Standard of Care

Compassion   Growth   Acceptance   Empathy   Inspiration   Clarity

Growing Clarity Counseling strives to create a compassionate and safe space that not only inspires growth, but allows you to embrace yourself fully.  We approach therapy with an open-mind and want our clients to leave their sessions feeling heard, respected, and a sense of relief from sharing with their therapist.  Each of us are proficient in empirically based therapies, which allows us to meet our clients where they are at and encourage them to move forward with their own goals and values.  Growing Clarity Counseling provides individualized counseling for children, teens, adults, couples, and families at our Tinley Park office.  We also provide the option of utilizing telehealth or online therapy for those who cannot come into the office.  We specialize in many behavioral, eating, and personality disorders.  We also counsel those suffering from grief, suicidal thoughts and ideation, as well as trauma and other life transitions.
